Every April, the WTIS hosts an iris show.  This is an opportunity for iris enthusiasts to display their beautiful stalks.

The 2018 Iris Show "A Garden FairWell" will take place on Saturday, April 28th at the Pickering Center in Germantown, TN (7771 Poplar Pike).

On show day, anyone can enter a named variety from 7:30am until 10:30am.

Entries are judged by a certified AIS judge from region 7 who has received elaborate training on both garden and exhibition judging.  AIS judges are required to attend 8 hours of re-training each year, vote the official AIS ballotm and grow / study irises to recognize trends in iris breeding and culture.

Entries judged against "perfection" for that particular cultivar, and those earning a score of 90+ receive a blue ribbon.  All blue ribbon winners compete for "best specimin in show", first runner-up, second runner-up, and honor court.

This free public show will be from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
